Aspergillosis is associated with high morbidity and mortality. While most Aspergillus sp. infections affect the lung parenchyma, tracheobronchial lesions are rare. We present the case of an immunocompromised patient with a recent diagnosis of asthma, with persistent wheezing despite inhaled treatment. A diagnostic bronchoscopy was performed with the discovery of endobronchial lesions, where the biopsy result reported a suppurative inflammation of fungal etiology, and Aspergillus fumigatus was isolated in the culture.
